The image provides information about the countries/regions with biggest changes in tourist arrivals compared to 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

The data presents the percentage change in tourist arrivals between 2010 and 2019, as well as 2022 versus 2010, for ten major tourist destinations. The analysis encompasses countries primarily from Asia, with Mexico included for comparison.

Japan demonstrated the most substantial growth, recording a 270% increase in tourist arrivals by 2019 compared to 2010 levels. This was followed closely by Portugal and Vietnam, which experienced growth rates of 261% and 257% respectively. India and Thailand exhibited robust growth as well, with increases of 210% and 150% respectively.

The middle-ranking destinations, including Indonesia, Taiwan, and Greece, showed moderate growth ranging from 113% to 121%. South Korea and Mexico recorded the most modest increases at 99% and 93% respectively.

When examining the 2022 figures relative to 2010, all destinations experienced significant declines from their 2019 peaks, with variations ranging from -95% to -14%. This substantial reduction in tourist arrivals can be attributed to global travel restrictions and changed travel patterns during this period.
