Ielts GT Writing Task 1 Sample 74

You recently visited a tourist attraction in your city and were disappointed with the experience. Write a letter to the attraction management expressing your dissatisfaction and suggesting ways they could improve the visitor experience. Include:

  • Details such as the date of your visit.
  • The specific aspects of the attraction you found lacking.
  • Any recommendations you have for enhancement.

Dear Yayattraction,

I hope this letter finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to visit Mauve Maze on Feb 27th, and I am writing to share my feedback about my experience.

Overall, I was disappointed with several aspects of my visit to Mauve Maze. While I had high expectations based on the reputation of your attraction, I found several areas lacking, which detracted from my enjoyment of the experience.

Firstly, I found that the organization and flow of visitors throughout the attraction were not well-managed. The queues were excessively long, leading to extended waiting times, particularly at popular exhibits. This resulted in frustration and impatience among visitors, including myself, and detracted from the overall experience.

Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and maintenance in certain areas of the attraction. There were instances of litter and debris, which created a less-than-pleasant environment for visitors. Additionally, some exhibits appeared to be in need of repair or updating, which diminished their impact and appeal.

Secondly, I recommend increasing efforts to maintain cleanliness and upkeep throughout the attraction. Regular cleaning schedules and inspections should be implemented to ensure that the premises remain tidy and well-maintained at all times. Additionally, I encourage you to consider investing in the refurbishment and updating of certain exhibits to keep them fresh and engaging for visitors.

Overall, I believe that implementing these suggestions will not only improve the visitor experience at Mauve Maze but also contribute to the attraction’s reputation as a premier destination in our city. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I look forward to seeing positive changes implemented in the future.

Sincerely,

Patricia Smith
