You rented a car from a car rental company. The air conditioner has stopped working. You phoned the company a week ago but it still has not been repaired.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter:

  • Introduce yourself
  • Explain the situation
  • Say what action you would like the company to take

Dear Sir,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have been facing with the car I rented from your esteemed company. My name is Kaycee Smith, and I rented a car, Nexus (TGH54463), from your company on June 5th for a period of one month.

Unfortunately, I have been experiencing a problem with the air conditioner in the car. I immediately reported the issue to your customer service department a week ago, hoping for a prompt resolution. However, I am disappointed to inform you that the air conditioner has still not been repaired, despite my previous communication with your company.

As you can understand, the malfunctioning air conditioner has caused significant inconvenience during my travels, particularly in the current hot weather conditions. I kindly request that you take immediate action to resolve this issue by repairing the air conditioner in the rented car or providing a replacement vehicle with a functional air conditioning system.

I believe that your company values customer satisfaction and prompt service, and I trust that you will address this matter urgently. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.
