You recently purchased a mobile phone online, but upon receiving it, you discovered that it is faulty. Write a letter to the online retailer from whom you made the purchase. In your letter:
- State when and what you purchased.
- Describe the issues you are facing with the mobile phone.
- Request a replacement or a refund for the faulty product.
Dear Sir,
I hope this letter reaches the concerned department. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with a recent purchase I made from your online store.
On June 24th, I purchased a brand new mobile phone, the XYZ model, from your website. However, upon receiving the package and testing the phone, I discovered several significant issues that render the device faulty.
Firstly, the phone’s battery drains excessively fast, even with minimal usage, making it impractical for everyday use. Secondly, the camera fails to focus properly, resulting in blurry and distorted images. Additionally, the touch screen occasionally becomes unresponsive, which greatly affects the overall usability of the device.
Considering the defects in the phone, I kindly request either a replacement with a fully functional XYZ model or a refund for the purchase amount. As a loyal customer, I have always trusted the quality of products from your online store, but this experience has left me disappointed.
I have attached a copy of the purchase invoice and other relevant details for your reference. I hope you will take prompt action to resolve this matter, as I rely on my mobile phone for both personal and professional use.
